Christmas Trees

I found a lovely and easy craft for the children to do in one of my books so the children could follow the steps shown in the pictures.  I cut out the tree template and stuck it to a piece of card with masking tape.  I then provided green paint and brushes, but also told the children it might be good if they used their fingers too.  Initially they used the brushes.

 M soon got bored of using brushes and used his fingers instead....

 And of course painting on fingers became popular!

 Once the paint was dry the children added glitter.

Their finished pictures look lovely.
